Apple offers several security features on iPhone and iPad, including iCloud lock. This system requires you to connect with your Apple account to restore and by definition activate a device. But some users find parries to bypass this lock.

New techniques have been found for iOS 11 which is currently available in beta to developers and public testers. In the first part of the video, we can see an example made on iPad. We find the demonstration on the iPhone afterwards.
On the iPad, users can press the Home button three times to activate VoiceOver. Then they can make several sweeps up down on the screen to bring up the dock. It becomes possible to drag Safari into a corner of the iPad and browse the Internet normally. Users can also open Messages, Music, Mail and Files, but interest is limited.
IOS 11 being in beta, we suspect that Apple will correct the shot. The iCloud bypass is already fixed on iPhone with the beta 2 actually. On iPad, the manipulation is still current on the other hand.
